Data stored

The app stores account profile data, family profile records, uploaded report metadata, medication logs, injection logs, manual vital entries, and report files uploaded by the account owner.

Storage region

Application data and GridFS report files are stored in MongoDB Atlas in Mumbai, ap-south-1, for the India-first v1 launch.

Use of data

Stored data is used to show the account dashboard, profile ledgers, uploaded files, and trend views. It is also used to count report uploads against the monthly allowance on your plan. The app does not sell personal data.

Advertising on the Free plan

The Free plan is supported by advertising. Paid plans (Individual and Family) display no ads.

Ads shown on the Free plan are never selected using your health data. Your uploaded reports, extracted lab values, medications, vitals, and family profiles are not used for ad targeting, are not shared with advertisers or ad networks, and are not used to build an advertising profile about you or anyone in your account.

Advertising partners may process limited technical data required to serve any ad on the web — such as IP address, approximate coarse location derived from it, device type, and browser — under their own privacy policies. This is standard web-request data and is separate from the health records you store in eMed7. Upgrading to a paid plan removes ads and this processing entirely.

Payments

Paid plans are processed by a third-party payment gateway. eMed7 does not receive or store your full card number, CVV, or bank credentials — those are handled by the gateway directly. eMed7 retains only the subscription status, plan tier, and payment reference needed to keep your account active and to support refund and cancellation requests.

Removal

Account removal stops access immediately and hard removal completes within 30 days. The detailed process is described in the Data Removal Policy.
